We are small in home breeders with years of experience, lifetime animal lovers, and our hearts have been stolen by French bulldogs! We live in a country with plenty of space for our dogs to run and play outside and inside. Our dogs and puppies are all raised and live with us in our home, with constant human interaction. They are part of our family and everyday lives. They are always getting the love and attention they need and we strive to provide the best care, food, and environment possible. All of our dogs have been in our home since they where puppies and we had the privilege of raising them with undivided care and watching them mature into great family pets with wonderful personalities and character! Our dogs come from great bloodlines and have outstanding quality and genes. We know that they passed that on to their puppies! The puppies are raised inside our home since birth and are the center of our attention. They are accustomed to everyday household noises and living life with kids and family. Over the years, we laughed at those preferring little dogs. We scoffed at the thought of ever having a small dog, “not in our house”, were the words often heard. Yea, we got the idea they were cute, cuddly, etc., we simply did not understand the infatuation with small dogs. Being a big dog family, boxers were our breed of choice; we loved their gentle temperament, athletic appearance, and eager playfulness. Then something happened, our family was watching the Westminster Dog Show as we do every year, rooting for our favorites—when all of a sudden out came this adorable, compact, rolling–gated, tough–looking little character. And what character! The crowd roared on TV, the announcer played into the audience’s exuberant attention with an upbeat introduction, and our lives changed forever. Just a few weeks later we acquired our first French Bulldog; Lucky Sir Louie. Louie won us over with his ever-cheerful “big dog” mentality wrapped in a diminutively stout package. Initially, we thought of our new “Frenchie” as just a fun companion but the more time we spent with Louie the more we appreciated the breed. Soon we began studying French Bulldogs. We researched every article we could find. We went to dog shows, talked with breeders, and met handlers. The more we learned the more we desired becoming an integral part of promoting this outstanding breed. Superstition French Bulldogs started out in the Superstition Mountains just east of Phoenix, Arizona. After raising and showing Chinese Shar-Pei for the past 18 years I decided it was time to add a few little Frenchies to the family.  In 2006 we made that happen. I am a small hobby breeder and strive to produce happy, healthy French Bulldog puppies that conform to the breed standard.  All of my adult dogs come from AKC Champion lines with cobby bodies and big Bully heads! My dogs are all home raised and a very big part of the family.  They spend their day romping around with the horses and all of our other four-legged kids.
