I have bred dogs for over 30 years. My grandmother was a respected Boston Terrier Breeder in Western PA in the 1950’s, so it is a family tradition. I veered away from the family breed and in the 1970’s I bred Doberman Pinchers (Although I still have a love for Dobes, I no longer breed them), then in the 1980’s added Boxers- all the while still of course doing Bostons.. I now have only Bostons and Frenchies and normally ONE Boxer here at the house.. My “retirement” as it were has turned into a full time job raising my dogs, the only job I have ever totally loved. It is a full time job making sure the 20 dogs at Cocolamus have their physical as well as their emotional needs met, and although it takes most of the hours of the day, I enjoy every minute of it. Although Cocolamus has an actual “kennel” where the dogs have their toys, beds, and large grass yards; they all take their turn rotating into the house where they get quality “couch” & one-on-one time with the family.  I enjoy showing as a way to travel a bit and stay in touch with my “dog” friends..  My little son Michael is looking to be a great junior handler and my daughter in law Brandi is also finding it fun to go to the dog shows.  We love to win.. but we show for FUN!   -MARLENE    The information and images included in this listing were sourced from Cocolamus Creek Boston Terriers and French Bulldogs.

We bought out first frenchie, Bailey, and fell completely in love with her and the breed. A few months later we got a boy, Leo. The breeders advertised that the puppies were raised in their home and I loved that idea, but it turned out that things were a lot different. It was then that we decided to breed and give buyers, like us, the experience we’d want to have. Our dogs live in our home, play with our kids, and are potty trained by us. We know each ones temperament and there are no restrictions on socialization or play. Our dogs are truly a part of us. Blue Moon Dogs is located in beautiful rural Big Cabin, Oklahoma. We raise the dogs on our 80 acre farm isolated from neighbors and outside dogs. We sell not only to the general public, but we are fortunate that we have built working relationships with some of the best distributors in the pet industry to make sure that all of our pups are able to locate loving homes and build family bonds for life! The dogs are cared for not only by myself (Donald), but also my parents and our Kennel Manager, Bonny Bell. All the dogs receive daily attention to help make sure they are healthy, happy, and well socialized. Blue Moon Dogs purchased its first set of breeding dogs in the fall of 1997 and sold its first litter of pups in the spring of 1998. It began as only a hobby, with one male Siberian Husky and one female Siberian Husky, which has now grown into a 40 dog breeding operation specializing in Siberian Huskies and French Bulldogs. We have been licensed with USDA since November 2000 and with the State of Oklahoma since July 2011. With this title goes the responsibility to make sure we live up to the standards set by the USDA for the production of canines. We are regularly inspected by not only the USDA but also our Kennel Veterinarian is on site regularly throughout the year to check our vaccination, exercise, feeding and overall production program. In addition we have been regularly inspected by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and have met all their standards for commercial canine production.
