At Great Basin Bulldogs we have been breeding quality English and French Bulldogs, in the Reno area, for 10 years. We maintain a small breeding operation so all of our puppies get the attention they deserve. All of our puppies are socialized from birth by our children, their friends and our adult dogs. Our puppies are a part of our family.   Our puppies are nurtured in our home under our feet, in our laps, in our arms and our beds. We breed for health and confirmation. Welcome to Blissful Bulldogs! All of our puppies are hand raised in our home and are treated as a part of our family until they become a part of yours. We send all of our clients home with a nice puppy package that includes a crate (as we do highly recommend crate training until your puppy is out of the potty training/chewing stages for their own safety), a full size bag of food (we only feed our dogs the best food- Orijen or Merrick though there are several other wonderful brands we can recommend to you), toys and treats, harness and leash, bowls, blanket and bed and other goodies. We want you and your puppy to have the best start possible and we do our best to make your experience with us a wonderful and memorable one. 2009 was the year we brought our first French Bulldog home, and we can never express the joy that has come from it. We knew we had found the breed for our home and family, and not a single day has gone by that these wonderful dogs haven’t made us laugh. Once we decided to become breeders ourselves we were lucky enough to welcome a gorgeous Blue Brindle stud from Russia into our family. Not only was he our first step into an amazing adventure, but he also carries the black and tan gene and is the sire of the first blue and tan stud born here in the U.S.A., Beast. Because our dogs are family we believe in feeding them the very best which is why we prepare all of their food on site and feed a RAW meat diet with yogurt, pumpkin and vitamin supplements. Feeding our dogs the healthiest food is only part of the process, however. As the founder of a nutrition center, health of my dogs is of most importance, followed by structure. A Pet Nanny carries your dog on board a flight and keeps it with her/him at all times, meets you at your airport in Baggage Claim of the airlines using. Buyers are welcome to fly into one of 4 airports (SGF, TUL, XNA, & MCI)that are within a reasonable distance as well.
