HTM French Bulldogs
My name is Orestes Rios but everyone knows me as Leo. We live in Tampa, FL. Back when I was a child my dream was to have an English Bulldog, many years later and thanks to my friend and mentor Linda Oresto I was able to own, breed and show my own dogs. I was introduced to the English Bulldog Breed back in 2008. Later in 2010 I got my very first French Bulldog and 2015 we got our first Basenji from – MIBRE in South Florida. As of today we only show and breed Frenchies and Basenjis. While I still love the English bulldogs we no longer breed them. We are very proud of all of our accomplishments and we look forward to the future. Always breeding to improve. Here at HTM French Bulldogs and Basenjis we have beautiful dogs that meet the standard in quality and temperament. Dogs are my love and passion since I was really young. I adore each and every dog that I own and we DO NOT consider ourselves to be a Kennel and much less a puppy mill. Our Dogs are family and we are proud of every litter we raise, every puppy we place and every friend we have made along the way! Health and Quality are our number one goal. We look forward to seeing our puppies make it to the show ring one day, but more importantly we want a great forever home for them, one where they are loved like a family member! We plan our litters in advance, always thinking in generations ahead of us, always looking out for the best pedigrees and making sure parents are health tested. French Bulldogs and Basenjis couldn’t be any more different, yet they both have come a long way! Breeding the Perfect Dog takes time, dedication and a lot of hard work. Always do your research! Every day is a new day, and every litter of puppies is a new journey. Keep in mind that all of our puppies are AKC registered and all the studs used are AKC DNA verified. We understand the breed standards and we can affirm you each of our puppies are a true representative of our breeds. Miradon Frenchies
Finishing my homebred Doberman, Ch. Miradon Custom Maid in 1979 winning a Best Of Breed over Specials. At the time, I was playing a little hooky from college on the Florida circuit! This girl became a Specialty Best In Show winner before I started vet school. I discovered the world of dog shows as a junior high school student in the late 1960’s, and it has been part of my life ever since. As a veterinarian and long time dog show exhibitor, I have come in contact with many different dog breeds, but there is something undeniably special about the French Bulldog. Thank you to the breeders of my two foundation bitches, Charlotte and Honey, for allowing them to become part of my family. My goal is to breed the finest quality French Bulldogs possible, in conformation, temperament and health. Before breeding, my girls have their eyes CERF’d, their patellas and hearts checked normal, and their backs, hips and elbows are x-rayed. Puppies are extensively socialized in keeping with my expectations of stable, confident, responsive but laid back individuals. Breeding is very limited, with only one to two litters per year anticipated. I look forward to sharing my love of French Bulldogs with you, but for serious inquiries, please call.
